Hide the 'LeadMeNot is active' notification
Android shows a notice while protection runs. You can hide it without turning anything off.

Long-press the notification
Press and hold the LeadMeNot notification, then tap Settings or the gear icon.

Turn off just that notification
Switch off that notification category only. Protection keeps running.
Watch out
Don't turn off all LeadMeNot notifications. You'd miss partner approvals.
